Dénia celebrates Local Commerce Day on Monday
The general director of Commerce, Rosa Ana Seguí, presented this morning at the CREAMA Dénia agency the communication campaign for Local Commerce Day, established on October 25 to give visibility and value local commerce.
In the Marina Alta, most city councils, including that of Dénia, have joined with the approval of motions to this initiative of the Generalitat, which wants to recognize "the importance of local commerce in our economy, as a generator of employment, and also as an element of social cohesion ”, Seguí highlighted.
The presentation of the Local Trade Day has been completed with the intervention of mayors or councilors of the municipalities of Benissa, Pedreguer, Xàbia, Gata, Pego, Teulada, Calp and Dénia, who have explained the respective actions developed to support the sector, especially during the pandemic.
On the part of Dénia, the Councilor for Economic Promotion, Paco Roselló, has highlighted the most recent and innovative action launched by the city council to help modernize the small business sector: the Dénia Strategic Trade Plan, which includes 38 actions specific to achieve 10 objectives, among others, position the urban center as a commercial destination of reference, promote business associations, improve adaptation to digital transformation and increase the display and enhancement of the local product of Dénia.
