Dénia celebrates World Bird Day with talks and ornithological routes

On the occasion of the commemoration of the World Bird Day next 3 October, the Department of Environment of Dénia has scheduled a series of activities for all ages to be developed on 5, 6 and 7 days in October.

The program starts on Friday 5, addressing the urban birds in Dénia. From 17: 00 to 20: 00 hours, in the Interpretation Center of the Montgó Natural Park, in the Bosc de Diana, there will be family workshops, bird ringing and nest box preparation, among other things.

On Saturday, 6 will take place an ornithological route guided by the Montgó Natural Park to observe the forest birds that live there. It will be from 9: 00 to 12: 00 hours, and a bus will be enabled from the Torrecremada park.

The program finishes on the 7 day in October, with a new ornithological route and bird ringing in the Pego-Oliva Marjal Natural Park. At the 8: 00 hours a bus will depart from Torrecremada and the activity is scheduled to end at 12: 00 hours.

All activities are free, although places are limited. That is why it is necessary to pre-register through deniaviva@ayto-denia.es
