03 March 2017 - 08: 56

The National Coastal Directorate will again enable a ramp on the beach of Punta Negra, in les Rotes, to facilitate access for people with functional disabilities. This decision has been widely applauded by the Citizens group in the City of Dénia, which last June filed a motion demanding that the ramp be replaced.

Her spokesperson, Mari Martínez, removing the ramp "it had deprived many people of enjoying bathing in the sea, something that not only affects them from the point of view of leisure, but also from that of health".

for Martinez "It is only fair that those facilities designed to facilitate bathing for disabled people be properly equipped, and that the complaints of neighbors and users be addressed once and for all". Councilwoman recalled that since its formation require that this condition is met before the summer season.
