Ciudadanos confirms Sergio Benito as a candidate for mayor of Dénia

Sergio Benito Ríos will finally be the candidate for mayor of Dénia for Citizens. This has been reported by the party, which this Thursday afternoon has sent the list of candidates in the municipalities of the province of Alicante.

This confirms one of the questions that remained in the air, since from the group at the local level, neither confirmed nor denied the candidacy of Benito. So far, the only affirmation of Ciudadanos was that they would attend alone, thus closing the door to a possible pact with Center Unificat.

It is expected that in the coming days, Ciudadanos will present the members who will complete the list that Sergio Benito already officially heads.

At the moment, they aspire to the mayor of Dénia, besides Benito, Vicent Grimalt (PSPV), Rafa Carrió (Compromís), Alex Rodenkirchen (Podemos), María Mut (Partido Popular) and Mario Vidal (Gent de Dénia).
