Baix la Mar pays tribute to Miguel Hernández on parchment this year

The Baix la Mar falla presented last weekend the parchment they have chosen for this year and with which they want to pay a small tribute to the Alicante poet Miguel Hernández. It is a replica of the sculpture made by Joan Castejón in which the artist Enric Ginestar has been counted on for its realization.

In the presentation ceremony, they attended by both Castejon as Ginestar, the fallero Miguel Ivars recalled the figure of the poet through the words dedicated Pablo Neruda, while the faller, Laura Casado, read a poem honoree.

The parchment 2016 Baix la Mar was presented to coincide with the Christmas dinner of failure, in which a large group of falleros gathered to celebrate the holidays in a fun family night. Charges this year did not miss the opportunity to provide with them to wish them a happy holidays.
