The new municipal library, in the renovated building of San José Street, already has an opening date. Next Saturday, 9 in February, will open its doors to the public with a special day of open doors from the 10: 00 in the morning to the 13: 30 hours.
After that opening, the service will begin to be delivered normally from Monday 11 in February at its usual time: Monday to Friday, 8: 30 to 21: 00 hours and Saturdays of 10: 00 to 13: 30 minus the months of July and August.
Closure of the library for the transfer of material
The last week of January will begin the transfer of funds and material from the Municipal Public Library to the new premises of San José Street, 6. For two weeks, from 28 from January to 8 in February, the service will remain closed to the public. During this fortnight, book returns can be made at the information desk of the Casa de Cultura and at the Reading agency Baix la Mar. In the case of the Children's Library, the service will be closed as of the January 25.
