The President of the Generalitat and Secretary General of the PSPV-PSOE, Ximo Puig, has assured today that "in the next legislature the works will begin for the Dénia-Gandía connection", while pointing out that in recent years "we have advanced together on basic issues for this region, such as mobility, making possible the L9 or liberalizing the AP7». In this sense, he has affirmed that "what we want is good communication between regions, a sustainable mobility that we will also achieve through formulas such as the TRAM".

This is how Ximo Puig stated during his speech at the event that took place in the Plaça del Consell de Dénia. In the meeting, moderated by the first deputy mayor of the town, Maria Josep Ripoll, the socialist candidates for mayor of Dénia have participated, Vicent Grimalt; from Xábia, José Chulvi; from Beniarbeig, Juanjo Mas; the candidate for mayor of Benissa, Marina Renner, and that of La Xara, Maite Pérez.

In the same way, President Puig has pointed out that the next legislature "we will already have deprivatized healthcare, managing to reverse an entire privatization process that began in the PP, which will mean more investments, more doctors and more capacity for the citizens of La Marina to have the public health they deserve.

Regarding the tourist potential of this region, the socialist candidate has made reference to stimulus policies such as the Travel Bonus, from which more than 250.000 people have already benefited and "which we are going to maintain over time in the next legislature because it has shown be an effective way to reactivate tourism and learn more about our own community.” At the same time, he stressed that "it is necessary to continue consolidating cooperation and co-governance between the sector and the institutions that has led us to leadership over the years and has obtained record numbers" and has emphasized that "we have been able to accompany the sector and destinations throughout Europe to attract quality tourism that we must now consolidate.

On the other hand, he has referred to the birth rate as a matter "that we must attend to, because right now Valencian society has an average of 1,2 children." For this reason, he has pointed out that "everyone should have the freedom to carry out their life project and it is not possible that those couples who want to, cannot have children for economic reasons", while recalling that " In the next legislature, couples with two children will be considered large families, an initiative to which the municipalities that so decide may also join.

Puig has also remarked that "we have always believed that, in order to achieve a project of progress in the Valencian Community, the territory had to be taken into account from the city councils" and has pointed out that "we have made changes and advances in issues such as education or employment through through this alliance. In this sense, he has referred to issues such as the creation of 430.000 jobs, the disappearance of barracks in educational centers, free textbooks or the implementation of free education after two years.

For all this, he has emphasized that "we have a project for everyone, a project of dignity, of the people and for the people" and has assured that "the project of the right is anti-Sanchismo, they are against issues such as the labor reform, the increase in pensions, etc ». Finally, he has affirmed that "the right does not have a project for the Valencian Community or for anyone, the only thing they want is power for power's sake".

The truth is that we have it complicated because we have to choose between the bad and the worst. The Socialists without doing anything in four years and promising the same as in previous elections. And the popular ones with their history of theft, corruption and ruinous situation of the Community. Of the others it is better not to speak.

Train from Denia to Gandia – those of you with any memory will remember that you ripped up the track many years ago – if it takes as long as the “Alicante Tren” the money pot will be empty and Grimalt & Puig long in the ground What a joke!!!😂😂😂😂😂😂

  2. Marcelo says:

The same thing was said by this flip-flop and the mayor of Denia in the previous elections, they are not ashamed, they think that we are idiots, the only thing they want is to perpetuate themselves in office, it is time for them to leave ……

  3. Enrique says:

And why haven't you done it this legislature? How little shame you have. Always claiming what you don't do. Go to the opposition for a while and we already see your uselessness.

  4. Dani says:

These are the ones who vote with erc, bildu who has ex-ETA members on lists, those who promote the squatters, I don't want them to paint or my town to become Barcelona, the lawless city.
I don't want little pay or that they buy my vote, I want to pay less taxes and that they go to what is important and not to place their friends, I want them to bring wealth by bringing companies that give jobs to the people and for this they must remove obstacles and taxes so that they can install, quite the opposite of what these people do, who are always more on the bad side than the citizen who works and wants to progress

  5. Vecino says:

Those of you are from Andalusia, the biggest corruption plot in the history of the country, those of Tito Berni, those of the beach bars to maintain votes, those who destroy water dams, what do we expect from a country and some citizens who continue to vote these people year after year, a country in which 17 million live on the public treasury among civil servants, retirees, pensioners, paguiteros and etc. All this at the cost of continuing to increase the debt with Europe and increasing taxes on it that will not be paid in generations. A government more concerned with continuing to smear subsidized media and unions so that the streets do not mobilize. Sometimes I think we get what we deserve and we are the only ones to blame because we are what we voted for. As long as we continue debating nonsense about them, them and other nenesterey while they put us in the vein of the 2030 agenda

  9. Alfonso Delgado says:

Always the same, parole parole parole
Hadn't they promised over and over again the continuation of the train from Gandía to Denia?

  10. smoke sales says:

Blablabla, what have they done for Denia in the past legislatures, apart from taking photos in Denia and spreading their propaganda with the usual verbiage?

    smokeseller.

    • Marcelo says:

I can't believe he says the same thing he said before the previous elections… They are the worst, they have no shame, they sell the mother and children for perpetuating themselves in office…. Let them go at once...
