The Department of Commerce, through the AFIC in Creama, has called a new edition of the Christmas window dressing contest aimed at retail stores in the city located in commercial low. The registration period to participate is open until the 26 of November of 2019. You can manage the registration from the electronic headquarters of the town hall or deliver it in person, completed and signed, in the register of the Citizen Service Office located in the Plaza de la Constitució.
The window displays must be decorated from the 6 of December of 2019 to the 6 of January of 2020. The jury of the contest, composed of a representative of the Department of Commerce and two specialists in decoration and / or window dressing, will visit the participating shops of the 9 to the December 14.
The great novelty of this year is the increase in prize money, whose total amounts to 5.000 euros.
The public prize, for example, doubles its amount and amounts to 1.000 euros. Merchants who want to participate in this category should send a single photograph of their shop window to the email mvillo@creama.org before 12 at noon on December 10. These photos will be posted on the Facebook page of the City Council of Dénia, where the public can vote the image of your favorite showcase until noon on December 17.
The other prizes included in the rules are: first prize, endowed with 1.500 euros; second, endowed with 1.000 euros, third prize, which will receive 500 euros, and two special mentions of 500 euros each.
