The Mostra de Teatre returns to celebrate its 30th anniversary, recovering the usual format of the proposal, which in 2020 had to be reduced and adapted to the circumstances derived from the pandemic. From June 3 to 12, the 30th Mostra de Teatre 'Ciutat de Dénia' and 4th International Show - Marina Alta de Teatro will take to the stage of the Social Center of Dénia a total of six companies from the three categories of the contest: Marina Alta-Marina Baixa-la Safor, national and international.
The prizes awarded by an expert jury are: Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Direction, Award for the use of Valencian and two special mentions. In addition, the traditional Audience Award for the work most voted by viewers and spectators is renamed 'Vicent Balaguer', in homage to the writer and fan of the denier theater who died two years ago. "Dedicating this award to Vicent moves us very much to the theater people, for the appreciation we shared for the stages and the admiration for the character", highlighted the director of the Municipal Theater School, Mario Osmar Passero, who has also assured to feel "excited to be able to return to the performing arts" after the blow that the pandemic has caused the sector.
The councilman of Youth, Juan Sapena, has indicated that the recovery of the usual format of the sample, "applying the relevant measures in the Social Center, with capacity reduced to 75%, according to current regulations", is one more of the activities that, little by little, are recovering the presence, "like the summer workshops of Dénia Youth".
As is tradition, the proceeds from the Theater Show will go to an association in the city: in this edition, to ADHAMA Asociación TDAH Marina Alta.
Tickets for each show are priced at € 5 and can be purchased in advance from the lottery and stationery administration on Calle de la Estrella, 1.

All performances will take place at 20:XNUMX pm, at the Social Center.
