Dénia will host the second edition of JoaFest on Saturday 16 November. This festival was created with the participation of young people and is aimed at young people with the aim of creating an alternative and healthy leisure activity, with role-playing games, board games, escape rooms, a game fair and Kpop exhibitions.

"We are doing it again this year thanks to last year's success and it is the result of the commitment and dedication of the city's young people who have designed the entire project," said Valen Alcalà, Councillor for Youth.

"We are pleased to support initiatives like this, which offer healthy leisure alternatives that encourage creativity, fun and awareness," said the councillor.

JoaFest is aimed at young people between 12 and 30 years old and their families. The event will be free and the activities will take place in the Youth Building, which will be divided into different spaces.

Luis Terrades, representative of the Youth Ambassadors Group of the City Council, has explained that the event is aimed at young people from Dénia and surrounding areas. In this edition, the schedule will be from 10:00 to 00:00, since one of the concerns of last year's participants was the lack of time.

Terrades has encouraged other young people to join the Ambassadors Group and has expressed his wish that JoaFest will be held again in 2025.

Pau Ferrer, president of the Taulero association, explained that the Ludoteca will be hosting board game activities open to young people and their families throughout the day.
