Visibly tired from the long trip they had just made, the wise men of the East arrived in Dénia punctual to their appointment to greet the thousands of children who filled the streets of the center of the city in a cavalcade full of color and music.
The arrival of Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar to Dénia was preceded by dances and music that celebrated a very special night for the little ones and their families, and that surprised with magical bets, as superheroes performing acrobatics, great ladies dressed in white, horses giants or soap bubbles.
Their Majesties paraded on imposing floats, accompanied all of them of a fortnight of torches and their two personal pages in each float. After each king, a musical group announced that Dénia was living one of the most magical nights of the year.
There was no shortage of candies, which the Magi launched from their floats during the whole journey, nor the cries of the public, all excited to have before them Melchior, Gaspar and Baltasar and all their entourage.
Upon arriving at the City Hall, the Magi were received by the local authorities after delivering their presents to the baby Jesus. Then, Baltasar spoke from the balcony of the City Hall to address the children who were waiting for him in the square. He thanked all of them, on behalf of their colleagues, for the warm welcome they had received, and apologized in case they did not receive all the gifts they had requested in their letters.
After Baltasar's speech, the Magi came down to the square to enjoy the light and music show prepared for them, which this year surprised by combining dances and Disney songs live. The pyrotechnics that announced the arrival of the magicians to the city were not lacking either.
Before beginning the distribution of gifts, the three kings were greeting the children who came to the square, thus ending the most anticipated visit of the year.
