El CFS Dianense Rte Mena senior, of preferential category, started the year on a good footing after winning 8-3 at Elche Dream, in a match played last Saturday at the Dénia municipal sports hall.
The match started very even, with chances for both teams. The dianenses, with little patience at the time of maintaining possession but creating danger with balls on the back and the ilicitanos with good triangulations dangerously reaching the goal of Álvaro.
The 8 minutes saw the first goal by the locals, the work of Iborra. The visitors kept stalking the Dianense goal and, four minutes from the end of the first part, tied the game. But when everything seemed to indicate that we would reach the break with tables on the scoreboard, Jordi stood alone against the Elche goalie and scored the second over the horn. The visiting players protested but the match referee validated the goal. A player of Elche Dream was expelled for recriminating the referee that the goal had gone up to the scoreboard.
In the resumption, and although the visitors started with one less, the dianenses were not able to take advantage of the superiority. But the third came after recovering the ilicitanos to his fourth player. Again Jordi beat the visiting goalkeeper. But moments later, the Elche reduced distances.
With the passing of the minutes, the locals took over the game and the goals were coming from continous. Borja, Jordi and Antonio sentenced the match by placing the score in 6-2. And although the ilicitanos returned to reduce distances, again Borja and Pedro left the marker in the definitive 8-3.

Sunday was the turn of the female CFS Dianense Dprint, which beat one of the teams in the lower area of the table clearly and forcefully. The Dianenses endorsed a 17-0 Xaloc "C".
The locals dominated the entire match and did not give a single chance to the Alicante, who in the first half went to rest with a score of 12-0, goals by Laura (4), Ainara (2), Miryam (3) ), Mery, Nerea and Paula.
In the resumption, the dianenses raised the foot of the accelerator but they continued without giving truce to their rival, who fit five more goals, work of Paula (2), Laura, Lara and Mery.
The girls of the Dianense follow third to a single point of Calpe and three of Santa Rosa.
