There are hours for the boys and girls of Dénia to rejoin their classes so that the new school year begins, and there do not seem to be great differences compared to last September. The pandemic is still present, so the centers will have to take extreme security for another year. Now, they have the experience and confidence of having already passed a course without major incidents.
The Dénia City Council has summoned the media this morning to talk about the new start of the course that will begin on September 8. In this circle, the councilors of Education, Melani Ivars, and Urbanism, Maria Josep RipollAnd the mayor, Vicent Grimalt, have discussed the news of this return to classes
"We all thought that this pandemic at the beginning of the year would have passed," Grimalt confessed, insisting that we continue in a dangerous situation. However, he has been optimistic and proud of what he learned during the past year. "We believed that [the educational centers] were going to be a source of infection, but it has not been so serious," he pointed out, assuming that classrooms had to be confined but avoiding large outbreaks, this being part of the pandemic reality.
The work from the centers obtained a more than positive result, converting spaces that were thought to motivate multiple infections into safe areas for the children of Dénia. A mission that became a reality, and for which they will have to go back to work from tomorrow while educating each student.
After this summer where everyone has already mixed, what sense does it make to continue with these measures? Crowded beaches, family gatherings, friends etc. Can people crowd into a cove or pool, float in the same water without a safety distance or anything, children and adults playing loudly and now we are back to being squeamish?
