Some 2.000 runners take to the streets of Dénia in another successful Volta a Peu

Dénia dressed up for the occasion again this year Saturday, April 12 with the celebration of the Volta a Peu, one of the most emblematic events of the Circuit a Peu Marina Alta, which this year corresponded to the eighth test. The event, organized by the Dénia Corre club with collaboration from the City of Dénia, its Department of Sports, Baleària and Dénia Foundation, brought together about 2.000 brokers between children's tests and the absolute race.

A new feature: a 10K route with start and finish on La Vía Street

As a main novelty, this edition presented a different location for the start and finish, who moved back to the street La Vía due to the coincidence with the trade fair Dénia Stock, which occupied the Calle Marques de CampoThis change allowed the distance of the main test to be extended to the 10 kilometers, turning the tour into a double urban circuit with little slope, ideal for those looking for improve their personal bests.
