The City Council has announced a proposal whereby restore the old fish market building in the port. The project, to be known in the coming days, would begin later this year and will be conducted through workshops students masonry and plumbing electro.
Beyond its architectural value, the project aims to rescue the historical value of the building, convrtiéndolo in a socio cultural center that will be the result of joint work of CREAMA Dénia, Servef and Local Agenda 21, where the proposal was born.
A socio cultural center for what? I would like to know.
I think there would be great a Museum del Mar. The right place at the port waterfront, next to the fishing boats ,,, the site idóneom stroll through the port and into the museum to see the reality of the sea .
It seems incredible that, with all the fishing, marine and marine tradition that Dénia has, it does not have a Museum of the Sea. I think it is a thing that is essential and that many people like me miss it. Thank you.
