Facilities Dénia Tennis Club they hosted the finals of the Alicante provincial phase of the Valencian Community Children's Championship, known as the prestigious tournament "Manuel Alonso". On the dianenses courts, matches of great interest could be seen with the promises of tennis that pointed very good manners.
In the men's individual category, the champion was Vicente Alcaraz, who beat Xavi Ferrer in the final by 6/1 and 6/2. In the female category, the winner was Claudia Calabuig when she beat Anadela Amorós 6/3 and 6/4.
All the semifinalists, both girls and boys, managed to qualify for the regional phase: Claudia Calabuig, Anadela Amorós, Claudia Cerdán, Violeta Gil, Vicente Alcaraz, Xavier Ferrer, Abel Viñes and José Brotons. All will fight for the title at the next regional event of this Valencian Children's Championship "Memorial Manuel Alonso".
