Agents of the National Police of Dénia intensify the controls during the weekend to comply with the restrictions established by the Generalitat Valenciana to prevent the expansion of COVID-19.
As a consequence of the health crisis situation caused by COVID-19 and following the application of the regulations established in relation to the limitations decreed by the Valencian Government, various controls have been carried out throughout the weekend from the town of Dénia and a comprehensive security device has been deployed in different areas and accesses to the municipality with the aim of continuing to comply with the established sanitary measures.
Three detainees, illegal parties and 28 acts of sanction for breaking the COVID regulations
As a result of the different actions carried out, the agents have imposed a total of 28 acts of sanction for non-compliance with the established regulations and have dissolved two illegal parties in homes, in which all attendees were sanctioned for not complying with the regulations on restrictions for COVID-19, such as not wearing a mask or breaching the interpersonal safety distance. In one of the dismantled parties, a person was arrested for attacking an Agent of the Authority who attacked the agents when he tried to leave the house and not be punished, even injuring the policemen who tried to prevent his escape.
The 46-year-old detainee was placed at the disposal of the Investigating Court of the Guard of the town of Dénia.
In another police action, two minors who were together with other young people in a public park were arrested making a bottle outside the allowed hours. When they were intercepted by the agents and asked about the reason for breaking the curfew, the two minors attacked them with shoves and slaps. After this violent conduct, they were arrested and charged with an alleged crime of attack on an Agent of the Authority.
The National Police continues with control and surveillance measures sanctioning those who do not comply with the regulations
After the rebound of the pandemic, the agents continue to intensify the measures to verify that the curfew set at 22 pm is being complied with, sanctioning the uncivil and clandestine attitudes of those citizens who do not respect the restrictions and specific regulations to stop COVID-19, continuing with the controls and surveillance to avoid the groups of young people who congregate in public parks to carry out bottles and illegal parties in homes.
