During the night of this Thursday, a new concert of the cycle of Music to the Castell took place in the Castell de Dénia. On this occasion, Septeto Santiaguero performed, a group considered among the main exponents of traditional Cuban music. And so, to a Cuban rhythm, they made the audience vibrate that they can't help but stand up and dance.
Septeto Santiaguero has received several awards, among which is the Cubadisco Award they received in 2011, two Latin Grammy Awards, in 2015 for the CD “I don't want to cry. Tribute to Los Compadres” and in 2018 for the record production “A mi qué. Tribute to Cuban classics”, in addition, they were also nominated in the twelfth annual edition of the Latin Grammy in 2013 with the album 'Oye mi son santiaguero' in the category of Best Traditional Tropical Album.
