They sanction several people in Dénia for "reserving" their place on the beach

August 24 from 2020 - 13: 31

It is a common image of every summer and that, as expected, outrages those who get up early to enjoy a day by the sea. When they arrive, they have to look for life since the "best areas" are already occupied by ghost bathers.

Seeing a row of well-placed umbrellas and hammocks first thing in the morning but without people is something, unfortunately, more than common. When you have space to spare, it is already annoying, but if it happens at a time when capacity is limited, it can cause more than reasonable anger.

For this reason, the Local Police ensure that umbrellas and other items are not left to reserve the site on the beach, as it is prohibited. During this weekend, the agents filed 5 complaints about this behavior with the owners of the hammocks in the photograph, placed in Marines, which were also withdrawn.

If the city council took care of the entire beach of the marinas as it happens, there would be more beach and less crowds. At the height of the Quique Dacosta restaurant there are no beaches. And not even those of the red cross can pass without getting into the water ... Being a danger to everyone. All caused by the diversion of currents that caused the expansion of the port of Denia. In the records are photos of the extensive and wide beaches that existed in 1957 in the marinas.

Do not leave home and protect yourself from the deadly virus that there are no masks to stop it as we are seeing! Lock yourself up for responsibility towards you and your loved ones !! Do not go out on the street you will die because the virus stalks each and every one of us! Lock you up NOW !! Stop complaining about everything and do not leave your health bubble that is your home and you do not even think about opening the door to anyone!

    Hello,
I think that instead of pestering the police force, that what they are doing is extraordinary work and doing their job, (which among many other things is what you have said) And since they are not God and cannot be on all sides they do not have a crystal ball to guess things ... we should look at ourselves that knowing the rules, the broken ones And so that time that we make them lose due to our irresponsibility could be used in more important things

The Police in Dénia ... as always hidden and only appears to punish or fine people who have done absolutely nothing. Bravo! Let's see if we wake up a bit, less to fine the families that have been laying the umbrella for 30 years and more to be present on serious issues. We're going to tell the offender's daddy to tell the police to wake up, let's see if that's the case ...

If the local police want to do something useful they could go through the end of the broken and see the massive breach of the parking ban. The impunity of the drivers and the passivity of the city council have turned the broken into nothing more than an open-air parking lot. Congratulations Denia, with your bread you eat it!

My experience. It is forbidden to walk along the shore of the practically deserted beach without a mask. There is no problem if gangs of twenty-somethings or forty-something from the "urba" get together invading your space. Head on shoulders?

How lucky we are that the municipal police do these security prevention tasks, while the street vending and the mischief of four children are not pursued ... BIG !!!

    • Beatriz says:

It seems pathetic to me, that with the one who is calyendo, that the police, worry about if the people of an urbanization (that incidentally is never crowded, as in other parts of the beach) instead of look for safety and compliance with safety distances, masks etc ... by the way this has always been done, although the policeman said that he had not seen it in his life, surely he had never happened ... I guess yesterday they would not have Another thing better to do or someone resentful for arriving and not having a place in the FIRST line, because SITE HAD TOO MUCH had to call them.

  8. Marina says:

That's good!! It seems wonderful to me that at the moment we are, instead of being aware if the safety distance is carried out, masks, bottles ... are waiting for someone to put their umbrella and leave!

  9. Lola !!! says:

Great job from the police !! Where are they when there are robberies or when a few nights ago some young people with cars and drunkards broke a red cross post? When the police arrived we were all at home asleep after several calls alerting !!!
Aa and the health measures of distancing or closing of premises at their time due to the covid?
Thank you for your work .. tomorrow we will have more space on the front line ... thank you very much !!

    • Cristina says:

And what about the water game you can see on the left of the photo, and that it has been authorized by the City Council where people gather without keeping distance or masks? Is it normal in this time of pandemic to give permission to this type of aquatic activity?

Let's see just Monchi if we contrast the news before publishing it: a group of thugs break and break into the same urbanization where they do not protect themselves and they arrive late and badly but the daddy of a criminal makes a vengeful complaint for camping on the beach With a "ghost umbrella", the police appear saying that it is a warning. And the news is this of the complaints? A bit of rigor and if you want to inform yourself first find out the facts; fond of journalist.

I keep asking: where is the municipal police involved ????? Has anyone seen them downtown ???? I'm worried . Luckily they have removed 5 umbrellas in all the marinas .. It leaves me calmer. Uffff !!!!
