January 17 from 2020 - 13: 16

The State Meteorological Agency had been warning for days about the extraordinary conditions that lie ahead on the north coast of Alicante. Now he has decreed at maximum alert level, the red one, for the extreme risk that these phenomena will entail.

The red alert from Sunday afternoon, at 18:00 p.m. and until midnight at the moment, will be coastal by waves between 7 and 8 meters, with northeast winds force 9, occasionally 10. In addition, there will be a possible stop impact on promenades and coast lines oriented to the northeast. It will be preceded by an orange alert during the morning of that day due to somewhat milder but similar conditions.

In addition, this is accompanied by an orange alert for snowfall, with accumulations expected above about 500 meters from that day to possibly half of next week. There will also be 2 yellow alerts at the same time, one for heavy rainfall that will accumulate up to 60 mm and another for wind gusts between 80 and 100 km / h.
