This afternoon, around 15:30 p.m., the Alicante Provincial Firefighters Consortium had to mobilize one of its A1 helicopters to rescue two disoriented women in the Montgo. Both people had gotten lost on the route they were following, although they were not injured. Finally, the helicopter was unable to maneuver due to the wind, so the rescue was by land, guiding them down.
The two women, aged 40 and 42, were on the slopes of the Aguaderas ravine. By getting lost, they have not been able to return to the path and have entered a more dangerous and difficult to access area.
They had no water, but by taking their mobile phone with them they have managed to send the coordinates to be able to locate them. During the descent they have been provided with water to recover strength. The operation is currently ongoing.
