The 'UNED Conferences' return with full capacity at a conference on the functioning of the brain

February 18 from 2019 - 10: 25

The Associated Center UNED in Dénia began last week a new edition of the UNED Conference, which every month until May will offer conferences with professionals from different areas.

The first was held on Thursday, 14 in February. In it, the teacher-tutor of the center and Doctor in Neuroscience, Marta Ruipérez, gave the conference "Discovering the Brain", with full attendance.

In the edition of this year, the conference will have three more days: the month of March, specifically the 12 day, will be the former magistrate of the Constitutional Court Elisa Pérez Vera, the Vice-Rector and Director of the Inspection Service of the UNED Jorge Montes, and the director of the UNED Center in Dénia Raquel Martí, who will offer two lectures and the presentation of the book "Women, Franco and repression: a historical debt".

The 25 of April, it will be the turn of the presentation "Elements of Criminal Law", on the part of Miguel María Cots, Deputy Prosecutor of the Office of the Territorial Section of Gandia. Finally, on May 9, Jesús Esteras, professor-tutor of the Dénia Center, will give a presentation on "Positive psychology: learn to be happy".

These days UNED, which can be followed both face-to-face and online, address, in an informative way, but with the rigor expected from the academic field, different aspects that may be useful for all audiences, since lectures are offered in the different disciplines.
