Romany Quique, Sergio Alberola and David Ribes get finish the Ironman de Mallorca

Sergio Alberola participated for the tenth time in a test of this nature and did so with a spectacular time of 10: 28: 21. This Dianense of 40 years 4.000 finalized meter swim in a time of 57: 06; the 180 kilometers bike made in 5: 33: 58 and 3 marathon: 49: 24.

In his second participation in an Ironman, Quique Romany, of 61 years, despite suffering discomfort in the heel during the marathon, he managed to finish in 13: 12: 45. The swimming section was completed in 01: 07: 45; the bike leg got done in 06: 48: 59 and 05 marathon: 00: 40.

For his part, David Ribes, who participated for the first time in an Ironman, finished this demanding test with a more than satisfactory time 11: 15: 52. Swimming was made in 01: 10: 28; The bike ride ended it at 05: 49: 52 and 04 marathon: 02: 06.

The dianenses athletes highlighted the excellent organization of the event and the festive atmosphere that was experienced at all times, highlighting the marathon circuit in the harbor with thousands of people cheering the runners.

Note that the route at sea was 200 meters longer, reaching 4.000 meters in a relatively calm sea made this first part of the test proceed satisfactorily for dianenses. Bike, riders traveled a circuit 180 kilometers with a positive slope accumulated 1.200 meters.

The dianenses returning home very satisfied with the achievements and encouraged to continue fighting for new challenges in the world of triathlon.
