They propose to finance the Gandía-Dénia train with the benefits of the AP7

January 12 from 2018 - 09: 31

The political party Som Valencians has proposed that the Gandía-Dénia train be financed with the benefits of the AP7 toll motorway in its stretch through the Valencian Community. According to the secretary of Som Valencians, Jaume Hurtado, "The Generalitat Valenciana does not have a euro to run the train from the Gandia-Dénia coast and the Ministry of Development does not have to invest here in its agenda, so we must find other financing formulas". For this reason, he has proposed that Abertis pay for the execution of the train from the coast to Dénia with the benefits of the Mediterranean motorway in its Valencian section.

Hurtado recalled that the concessionaire "It has a gross profit of 220 million euros only in the Valencian section, while the Valencians are fed up with paying for the highway, not to mention the penalty that the highway cost entails for the Valencian companies".

From Som Valencians bet that "taking advantage of the end of the concession in 2019, a public-private partnership is established in which Abertis takes care of the 360 million euros that the coast train costs, in exchange for an extension of concession for eight years, provided when the highway becomes free for the residents of the Community. The execution period would be limited to a maximum of five years and the financing of the project would be viable, with ownership of the project being held by the Generalitat Valenciana ".

Always with birds in the head. It does not matter if the city council directs it than others. I have been in Denia for 13 years and all the residents of km 1 of Les Marines, asking that they clean the area of dirt and rats but it does not matter. And then They want to put a train that "will be good for tourism." First clean the house and then the garden will be done.

  2. Alfred says:

For proposing that it does not remain. But let's remember that the concessionaire and owner of these benefits is Abertis. They will have to say something about it, right? I doubt you want to 'donate' them. Mendas are the Concessionaires.

  3. Pepa Moreno says:

Denia before the train should clean the first 2 kms. De Las Marinas that the drains of the highway are a nest of rats, mosquitoes bad odors. And there is no pedestrian sidewalk.

  4. Juan says:

The fundamental thing, now, is that the AP7 is free.

  5. Jose Luis says:

Hello, I believe that joining Denia and Gandia, would be very good for the region, since it is the last stretch that is missing so that the whole community is united by rail.

  6. Juan says:

    I dont know!
I prefer the freeway to be free!
The train will come when it has to come, but it is already good agreements that in the end are not fulfilled.
First one thing, and then the other!

    Let it be done however
