During the Festival of Dénia two actions of the campaign Beus ?? Measure-ho !! of prevention of abusive consumption of alcohol. The interventions were carried out during the discommobiles of the 11 and 12 days of July in the Torrecremada esplanade, two events with a high concentration of youth population.
The 11 day, between the 23 hours and the 3 hours at dawn, a total of 215 youth participated in the campaign and the 12 day was 150. Participants who approached the UPCCA information point were asked a series of questions related to alcohol consumption and were explained how to measure consumption with UBEs (Standard Drinking Unit) to differentiate a use of alcohol abuse and avoid the risks associated with consumption, especially in the youngest population. Once this intervention was made, they were given a brochure with this information and they were given a promotional gift of the preventive campaigns.
The UPCCA makes a more than positive assessment of these actions during the Festa Major, since the active participation and involvement in the activities of a total of young 365 has been achieved. The UPCCA thanked the volunteers and collaborators who accompanied the unit's staff.
