One of the athletic events held during the summer that has a great tradition is the Moraira Urban Mile. This year it celebrated its XVI edition within the festive atmosphere that all participants always give.
In this edition we must highlight the great role played by Athletics Club athletes Baleària Diànium, getting on the podium several of them. In the senior category, the duel that Miquel Piera and Youssef Ahatach was reissued. The winner in this category was Orba's athlete, Piera, with an 4.28 brand. The second place went to Victor Bottle, with a record of 4.34. The third was Youssef Ahatach, of Baleària, with a time of 4.35. Also highlight the great career made by Dianense Fran López, who was fourth with an 4.40 brand.
In the youth category the best was Joan Puigcerver, from CA Baleària Diànium, who made a mark of 4.53 His brother Damià, in the children's category, added a second place with a time of 6-04. While in fry, Erika Miralles was third with an 5.21 mark.
In the senior women's category the winner was Benita Breiter, an athlete who returned for her privileges and achieved a more than deserved victory. His time at the finish line was 5.57, ahead of María Martínez del Yeclano, with a mark of 6.20, and Marta Martínez, of the same Murcian club, which made 6.27. Highlight the fourth place of Clara Gutierrez that made a time of 6.30.
