The purple formation in Dénia has been the first to officially pronounce on the outcome of the investiture session this afternoon, in which the socialist Pedro Sánchez has been appointed President of the Government.
The statement reads: "Since Podem Denia we want to show our strongest support for the government, out of the popular will that has been voted this morning in the Congress of Deputies. We trust that it will be a government that puts the people at the center of its policies and that helps the most disadvantaged classes to get out of the situation they are in today.
We do not doubt the difficulties they will face due to the harassment of the rights of this country that have not understood that when they do not govern them, governments are also legitimate.
Once again we congratulate ourselves on this coalition executive, a novelty in our democratic history to whom we wish all the successes and long duration. "
