El Real Club Nautico Denia He has traveled to Almeria this weekend to participate in the II Portocarrero Sun Trophy organized by the Club de Mar Almería. The Dianense club has won a silver and a bronze in this competition in which more than 150 Optimist participated.
RCND sailor Eduardo Reyes has achieved the second position in the men's sub-13 category, finishing as sixth in the general. The dianense sailor Carlota Gómez, has won the bronze in the women's sub category 13. Nando Puig, meanwhile, finished the race in the seventh position of the general.
The Real Club Náutico Dénia also attended this competition with Carla Ivars, Nicolás Gómez, Arnau Muñoz, Julián Pérez and Vicente Fernández.
In the race, scheduled to be held from Friday 1 in November to Sunday 3 in November, it was only possible to carry out a test on Friday, since the extreme weather conditions on Saturday and Sunday prevented the rest of the tests from being carried out.
