History

Parish of San Miguel Arcángel is the most "young" of the parishes of the city of Denia. The April 14 1991 began their Christian and Catholic liturgies on the ground floor located on the street Amparo Merle. It was a room in which they were rented, and there were until 2003.

During that time, the acquisition of premises on Avenida del Montgó was negotiated to install the temple and the parish offices, and it is there that the parish was installed from that moment, built with prefabricated modules.

Celebrations

Parish of San Miguel Arcángel celebrates all kinds of Christian celebrations: baptism, communion, confirmation, weddings and communal anointing of the sick.

Baptisms usually held on Sundays at 12: 30 hours throughout the year. May and June are the months of communions, to also celebrate Sunday both months. Confirmations are held throughout the year, and weddings are specified with the parties. Community anointing sick is annual and private if the family so wishes.

In the Parish of San Miguel Arcángel same held weekdays at 9 morning. Saturdays and eve of public holidays, the liturgies are celebrated at 20 hours while on Sundays and holidays are celebrated at 9 11 and: 30 hours.

Jesús Nazareno brotherhood and Our Lady of Sorrows

Many faithful who are part of the Brotherhood Jesus of Nazareth and Our Lady of Sorrows, a public association of the faithful formed in 1993 and approved canonically the 21 1994 October. It currently consists of about 120 parishioners who are responsible for the processional events of Holy Week.

Ludoteca San Miguel

In summer, the parish organizes a children's playroom for the little ones are scheduled weekday activities. The toy library is developed in the months of July and August in the morning and includes excursions and varied activities.
