The shipping company's stand Baleària In Fitur, this Wednesday afternoon a first working meeting was held between the municipalities of Dénia and Eivissa to start a collaboration with the aim of promoting both municipalities for tourism. The shipping company, for its part, will be the link that will allow such joint actions. In this first contact, the mayors of both municipalities have participated, Vicent Grimalt, from Dénia, and Rafa Ruiz, from Eivissa, together with the president of Baleària, Adolfo Utor.
On the one hand, training and visits will be made for tourist informants from both cities, who will learn the most important of the other city. On the other hand, gastronomic, cultural or sports initiatives will be promoted to encourage tourists to visit both Eivissa and Dénia. And, it should be remembered that both locations are part of the international networks of UNESCO. In fact, the Valencian municipality is the Creative City of Gastronomy and the Balearic town is a World Heritage Site.
