I do not know if Mrs. Ripoll is aware of the state in which Dénia is and of the degree of anger of most of our neighbors that, at all, is exciting, the truth. But look, one good thing has come out of all this: the union of civil society with an idea and a common goal, to demand, finally, that the NUTU be approved as soon as possible so that this lawless city ceases to be so and we have a minimum regulation with which to govern us, rules that, everything is said, we were promised by the government team, which would come into force in April of this year. Oh, and we're already at the end of June ... and no standards in sight.
I also do not know if Mrs. Ripoll walks through Dénia and sees the traffic jams in which we see ourselves daily submerged by all those who have no choice but to take the car. Or maybe it is that she does not leave Dénia and only walks without using the vehicle. Oh sure, the beach will not go because there are no beach bars yet ...
I do not know if Mrs. Ripoll agrees to the castle through San Francesc Street, the one that has just been announced that it has extended its construction deadline and that it was supposed to be finished by now, the one that all those who want to visit our castle should use. Perhaps this also seems exciting to you.
I do not know if you find it exciting that our city is in this absolute chaos in all aspects and in summer: angry merchants, endless queues of vehicles that produce large traffic jams, shops on the verge of bankruptcy, beaches no chiringuitos, visitors who cannot reach the city center due to poor signage established ... and two weeks of Denia's patron saint festivities. I don't even want to imagine how we are going to spend the holidays this year !!!
None of this seems exciting to me.
Another thing is that this government team and Mrs. Ripoll in particular are going to do a number of magic, of illusionism, in which with a "chas" and in a second, all this chaos materializes into a bad dream and the star number of the magic show, the "harder still", culminate with some urbanistic norms that give us some legal stability and so necessary and so demanded by all the residents of Dénia, dedicate themselves to what they dedicate, and to all those who have decided to invest in our city.
