Mayor, Vicent Grimalt's opinion: «Què hem fet durant el darrer any?»

26 June 2020 - 11: 01

Governar molt de pressa, I will learn to defer and refer plans, improvise but to guarantee the one who trusts that mai veuríem perillar, innovate to marxes forçades, talk, dialogue, escort, propose, incorporate noves veus, explain ... Who any!

Fa dotze mesos vam celebrate a historic event for the Socialist Party of Dénia i, personally, l'assumpció d'una huge responsibility pelu grau de trusting that the meus conciutadans are going to deposit in my com a visible face d'un team of 12 regidors i aldermen molt il·lusionats amb el projecte que vam proposar per a Dénia.

I knew, per tant, that they are expecting intense mesos, because the absolute majority, obviously, is going to be a great joy but it will also multiply the self-demand. The full route was clear: the govern fidel program to the electoral program that the citizens are going to ratify at the urns (the public can consult www.denia.es). But the unforeseen will arrive, notable molts and molt enguany, and I will have to start reordering priorities.

Malgrat tot, ha ha passat un any. The first any of govern of the legislature. I plays retre comptes to the city of Dénia, per a qual treballem. An exercise in transparency and evaluation of the feina feta fins ara that ens permet to plan the remaining temps of the legislature. An exercise that, in addition, offers the possibility of looking between the calm and the fact that, parallel to the vicissitudes that have happened during the darrers mesos, the government program has continued to advance and complete the term. I, precisely in these adverse times, the program has proved to be a powerful force to face various crises.

The gamble for public policies of a social and progressive nature that characterize our government team has been a decisive sign when it comes to confronting the economic shortcoming derived from COVID-19. The families who have been left in a vulnerable situation have rebutted the administration's necessary support to overcome the bad moment. The I Pla d'Ocupació Municipal, dotat amb € 300.000, involves the hiring of 22 resident people to Dénia during the month. The ajudes als sectors més prejudicats is going to pose on the taula des del minut zero ...

But in the meantime, the administrative machinery is going to keep up, because it is in marxa the works of extension of voreres to the Camí de Sant Joan; tender the project for the redevelopment of the Major and Pare Pere streets and the Plaça de l'Oest; to get a new free public parking the Rotates. In July, the reconstruction of the pavelló covered by the DANA de setembre will begin; aviat tindrem has been modernized and adapted to the professional sports regulations, the athletic track and the new catifa de gespa of the Diego Mena soccer camp. L'Espai Castejón, at the House of Culture, on the verge of the inauguration, added to the renewed children's library, which will once again be open. The works of the Pla Edificant, from the moment to the educational facilities, continue with the Generalitat's delegation of competences to start the construction of the nou CEE Raquel Payà.

Participation and transparency, also underpinning the govern program, s'han vist reforçades in temps de crisi. The projectes triats per la Ciutadania dins de la darrera published the Pressupostos Participatius are executing and is during the state of alarm is va llançar, per mitjans telemàtics, ja tancada ia punt to pass to the voting phase of purposes; això yes, amb l'augment commitments of 25% per year of the item destined to this initiative.

The confinement will go home, but it will take over. Personally, l'experiència d'atendre direct to Facebook, setmanalment, els vubres dubtes on the situation that hem patit m'ha confirmed that the participation and transparency were always the best option. Taking into account your opinions and being able to explain every action that you have made and the decision making process has made it easier to adapt the government's action to the real needs of the population. I have discovered new forms, agils, directives and forces, to promote communication between citizens and governors. Gràcies per haver is always a l'altre costat.

Mr. Mayor, as the owner of a vacation home since 2008, I regularly go to Dénia several times a year. To my taste Dénia has charming areas that there is nothing to reproach. But there are also clearly abandoned areas. One of them is the Carrer Fragata which has been opened to traffic (and has enough) without sidewalks or lighting, with a serious risk of accident in my opinion. I think that requiring whoever is competent to adapt this street should be a priority. There are also lots between Miguel Hernández Avenue and Paseo de las Murallas, for more than twelve years abandoned to their fate. A public park at the foot of the Castle would be a success. Except for Torrecremada Park, Dénia lacks parks. All that area of Avenida Miguel Hernández has the mark of wild speculation from the era of the housing bubble and it is impossible to redirect it.

Mr. Grimalt, I would like to know why, in the meantime, the repair, asphalting, lighting and cleaning of the accesses to Montgo are not found. From La Pedrera to Marquesa II access is indecent. Bushes and trees are eaten in the middle of the street, with the danger that this entails from lack of visibility and risk of accidents.
This seems to matter very little to you because it has been in a very bad state for many years.
Luckily my house is already for sale and I'm out of here.

    • Joselito says:

With this information I do not think you will sell your house.
Mr. Vicente cares little for this situation because it is not a way for him.

  3. Manuel Femenia says:

I have the house for sale. I'm going to Andalusia.
This looks like ending like Catalonia.
This HDLGP obviates that more than 50% of what it collects does for taxes
Spanish who do not have to understand Catalan, Basque, Galician ... what a shame.

  4. GENOVEVA CHICHE says:

    GOOD MORNING, LORD MAYOR.
THAT RABBY NOT TO UNDERSTAND ALMOST NOTHING ABOUT THIS ARTICLE
    GO FABRIC.
THAT HURTS THAT THOSE WHO ARE NOT VALENCIANOS BUT WE LOVE DENIA WE CANNOT
MORE SHARING THE INTEREST WE HAVE IN THIS CITY.
    I FIND THIS ANNOYING.
WHY IS IT NOT POSSIBLE TO HAVE THIS OPINION IN SPANISH?
I TRY TO LEARN THE VALENCIAN BUT IT IS A VERY DIFFICULT LANGUAGE AND EVEN MORE READ AND WRITE IT.

  5. C, esar Pino says:

Good morning, Excellency Mr. Grimalt. I know that it is to elaborate a bit on the same subject. Without acrimony. I would appreciate it if from time to time he addressed all his neighbors in Spanish. I know and understand that we live in the Valencian Region, a place we have freely chosen, and especially DENIA (it will be for a reason).
You well know that we are quite a few foreigners who live here and perhaps we deserve this little attention.

Thank you very much Mr. Mayor.

  6. Joselito says:

Thank you, Mr. Vicente, the Castilian speakers thank you for your language deference to us.
Since I know they do everything so well I don't need a translation.
Wait for my vote in the next elections.
