New professional graffiti embellish the walls of Dénia

16 October 2018 - 09: 41

Five new works of art decorate the streets of Dénia since last Saturday. The finalists of the urban art contest Borja Molina, from Dénia; Mar Puigcerver, of Ondara; Tardor Roselló, from Dénia; Ángel Caballero, from l'Alcúdia de Crespins and Karla Cuéllar, a Mexican artist based in Dénia, worked on their creations from 11 to 20 hours.

This initiative is part of Urbajove, the action promoted by the council of youth of Dénia that year after year bet by giving spaces of creativity to young artists, who with their works are contributing to beautify walls and anodyne walls of the city.

The new creations can be seen in the streets Patricio Ferrándiz and La Vía, where last Saturday there were activities for the youngest as a complement to the works of the graffiti artists.

While it is good that professional graffiti graffiti can be seen on the forgotten walls, should not we also look to remove the blight of unofficial graffiti? Sand blasting this away would be a cost effective means of improving the towns image.

  2. Leon says:

If for the next event they remember the walls of the undeveloped section of Ondara Street and thus beautify these anodyne walls of the city forgotten to their fate
    Best regards
