The Civil Guard of Moraira has arrested two women for being the alleged authors of various crimes of robbery with violence and robbery, through the method of the hug, carried out in Calpe, Benicàssim (Valencia) and Valencia capital, thus frustrating the commission of more possible thefts, by these people.
In one of the multiple preventive controls carried out by the Civil Guard of Moraira, in conjunction with the Citizen Security Unit of Calpe, a vehicle was stopped in which two people of Romanian nationality, one man and one person, were traveling. woman. The latter had two police requisitions in force, for the commission of several crimes of theft by the method of hug, which occurred last March 19, in Benicàssim and Valencia capital, proceeding to his arrest for these acts.
The next day, Moraira's agents identified the occupants of another vehicle, a man and two women, all of Romanian nationality, verifying that the three had a police record of theft by the hugging method and that one of the women had, in addition, , a police arrest warrant for theft committed in Calpe, on 25 and 26 days in March, for which reason he was arrested.
It should be noted that, thanks to these two police actions, the agents prevented these people from acting again those days, preventing the more than possible commission of more thefts of the hug method, which, remember, focus on looking for victims of advanced age, usually foreigners, with high purchasing power, who are deprived of all kinds of jewelery and, especially, watches of first brands, of great economic value.
The two detainees, after being brought to justice, were released on charges.
