27 July 2019 - 11: 06

After Friday's day played on the slopes of the Dénia Tennis Club, the Ciudad de Dénia Tournament already knows that couples will play the final on the 1 track this afternoon, not before 19 hours. The grand final in the doubles modality will be played by Sergio Martos and Jaume Pla against Alberto Barroso and Raúl Brancaccio.

In the semifinals played yesterday the Martos-Pla duo won the Ronglan-Winter formed by 3 / 6, 6 / 3 and 10 / 8 in a very colorful and above all matched match. In the other semifinal, Barroso-Brancaccio beat Danilov-Kotecha by 6 / 1 and 6 / 3. In this meeting the dominance of the Hispanic-Italian couple was total and they did not let the rivals into the game who did not have a good afternoon.

Individual semifinals

On the individual level, one of the most interesting matches was the one that served as the closing of the day, played by Carlos Alcaraz and Carlos Sánchez. The clash was extended to almost 3 hours of play and these two very young players showed the great quality they treasure. Points of great sight were seen and although the victory was for Carlos Alcaraz for 6 / 4, 2 / 6 and 6 / 3, it could have fallen on both sides after an intense fight.

Finally, in the semifinals of Saturday, they will face on the 2 track, at 16: 30 hours, the Spanish Jaume Pla against Kazakh Timofei Skatov, former 1 number of the junior world. In the other semifinal, Carlos Boluda will be measured against Carlos Alcaraz on the 1 track at 17: 30 hours.

The main stand is expected to record an absolute full in the individual final that will be played tomorrow Sunday at 19 hours.
