Maik Dimitrov, paddler of Real Club Nautico Denia, participated last Sunday November 24 in the second edition of the 'Mid Race Jávea'. The RCND paddler has achieved the first position in the K1 youth category, thus revalidating the gold of last year.
The regatta began on the Arenal beach, with a round trip to Portichol Island, with a total of 15 km. Dimitrov is in a perfect state after making a great season, which has favored his good position in this test, in which he has achieved sixth place overall.
The day began with high intensity wind and an increasingly growing wave, which did not prevent the Dianense paddler from performing a fantastic test, despite facing high level athletes.
Jaime Portolés, President of the Real Club Náutico Dénia, has been very happy with the work done by the Dianense paddler and his good positions throughout the season.
This test marks the end of the surfski season for the club. The paddlers of the RCND have already started training for next season, which will begin in Lanzarote next February.
