The councilor and candidate number 2 of the Socialists of Dénia, Cristina Morera, has announced that the Socialists of Dénia have in the Government program 2019 / 2023 a new measure in the area of social welfare and equality that would consist of the implementation of a municipal aid for parents who take the children of 0 to 3 years to the different nurseries in the town.
According to Morera, nowadays the parents of the children who go to the nurseries receive help from the Generalitat Valenciana (the day care bonus). However, the Socialists of Denia are betting to extend this type of aid to the parents of the children of the Dénia schools.
Morera has clarified that the municipal assistance would be similar to the help of Conselleria, that is, it would consist of a progressive and adequate help to the income of the family unit. The Socialists of Dénia will create in the municipal budgets an initial budget of 50.000 euros that will increase every year in order to get a minimum cost to families the 2023.
Vacances per a totes i tots
Morera has also announced that "in order to respond to the population, we will increase the number of places for the summer program 'Vacances per a totes i tots". The socialist candidate has explained that in 2015 the users were 90, they are currently 120 and will gradually increase by an annual 10% to also adjust to the facilities where they are performed.
Extension of library hours: More hours and weekends
Finally, he recalled that the Socialists of Dénia are committed to expanding the hours of the new library of San José Street, as announced last week in the presentation of the main points of the Youth program.
Morera has specified that the commitment of the Dénia Socialists is to take advantage of the new facilities to extend library hours during the week and on weekends, Saturdays and Sundays, in times of exams to improve the quality of service and respond to the demand of young people. Morera has recalled that the Socialists of Denia are the only party that has a program on real, feasible and executable youth.
