The ports of Dénia, under the umbrella of the Grouping of Ports and Sports of the Valencian Community, have recently participated in two of the most recognized nautical fairs, Madrid Blue, which was held on 17 and 18 days in February; Y Medsea, which took place in Alicante from the 16 to the 18 in March.
The president of the Association, Gabriel Martínez, says that "Both fairs have helped us to know the most innovative nautical activities so that our ports are up to date in nautical tourism".
Both fairs have brought together activities in which people are more in contact with the environment and respecting the sea. Scuba diving, snorkeling, freediving or sea kayaking, as well as surfing and all its variants as kite, wind, paddle, have been present. "All these sports are also practiced in our ports. Nautical activity is a fundamental part of our day to day life"says Martinez.
In the Association are associated almost all the marinas of our community, united with the firm purpose of continuing to work under its strong principles: respect for the environment, creation of wealth for society, job creation, development of nautical tourism and development of social nautical.
