Entrepreneurs seek to leave a positive mark on society

November 20 from 2019 - 19: 08

The Assembly Hall of the Dénia Business Incubator has hosted today the presentation of the new Self-diagnosis Tool for the Responsible Management of Organizations, developed by the Chair of Social Responsibility of the Generalitat Valenciana at the University of Alicante and the Social Responsibility Board of the Marina Alta. This resource will be made available to organizations and companies so that they can detect, and where appropriate correct, those points in which they have not yet implemented the necessary criteria to manage positive footprints in society.

In an act that has had a large public presence, the president of the Business Cercle Marina Alta, Benito Mestre, has been in charge of welcoming attendees, whom he recalled that incorporating the sustainable development goals established in the 2030 Agenda is also a business responsibility.

The director of Gasterra, Josep Bernabeu, wanted to remember in the presentation that the Marina Alta has three university headquarters and three classrooms, and has encouraged those present to take advantage of these facilities. The director of CREAMA, Rosario Donderis, has also been present, who has argued that only through the union of all social, political and economic agents will it be possible to move forward and achieve new achievements in the Marina Alta.

Irene Bajo, the director of the Chair of Social Responsibility of the University of Alacant, said that the work carried out by the Chair brings the University closer to society, and highlighted the great involvement of the region in achieving the objectives set to be a socially responsible territory. Finally, the Councilor for Finance of Dénia, Paco Roselló, has encouraged everyone involved to move forward with this work.
