Last Friday, September 27, The Lady Elizabeth School students went to the center dressed in green instead of the usual uniform. They sought to celebrate the Greenpeace Climate Awareness Campaign. The students personally delivered a letter to the City of Benitachell, written by themselves, in which they requested the collaboration of the municipality with The Lady Elizabeth School to address local environmental problems.

Throughout the walk, the students collected garbage and waste from the road, sidewalk and shoulders: bottles, plastic bags, tires and even a refrigerator. This action was carried out in collaboration with Rolser, a local company that produces high-quality shopping carts. In addition, the students themselves collected donations made by themselves, their parents and teachers, destined for charitable associations of the Marina Alta. From The Lady Elizabeth School they are delighted with this initiative of their students and are proud of the progress for the local community. Giving students a voice is always highly valued, as has happened with this awareness initiative.
