Agents of the Local Police of Dénia located, at 13:10 p.m. yesterday, Friday, in Corneta street, km 3 of the road to Marines, to a man who matched the description of a worker at a gas and fire extinguisher inspection company who had apparently already been reported for fraud.
Agents of the National Police also go to the place and confiscate the list of checks that have been carried out during the morning, all of them, to elderly foreigners. Apparently, the individual had been deceiving these people with the supposed "mandatory" change or revision of the gas meter, charging money in exchange.
The proceedings are carried out by the National Police, with joint action by both police forces.
