This weekend the traditional blessing of animals is scheduled in Dénia for Sant Antoni. However, the prediction of the State Meteorological Agency indicates that the weather may not be good enough to carry out the celebration, so the City Council has prepared a plan B in the event that the forecast is fulfilled.
According to the AEMET prediction, from Saturday afternoon until well into Sunday night the rain will make an appearance in Dénia again. And not only that, but everything indicates that it will do so torrentially and accompanied by a thunderstorm throughout Sunday, when it is planned to celebrate the Sant Antoni event. In addition, the snow level drops below 700 meters again, so there is once again the possibility that the top of the Montgó will be dressed in white.
What will happen to the celebration if it rains heavily? Faced with this more than real possibility, the City Council has already prepared its plan B. In the event that the intensity of the precipitation prevents the event from taking place, it will be moved to the following Sunday, February 5, with the same schedule.

- 11:00 Meeting on the Torrecremada esplanade and start of the parade that will go through Jaume I square, Patricio Ferrándiz street, Cervantes esplanade, up to the Climate monument, and will end on Marqués de Campos street.
