Lex turned Dénia Forum in the capital of legal debate in Spain

Next Wednesday 1 of July comes into force the controversial reform of the Penal Code, and therefore, Lex Forum met last Friday experts in the field to discuss the different aspects surrounding this reform.

Yes, Judge added that the reform "It is more debatable, since there are other elements such as permanent reviewable prison, which is more valuable, since there was no regulatory requirement of European organizations. It has been a manifestation of will by the legislator".

Lex Forum director, Enrique Sastre said on reform "It entails technical improvements to achieve a more agile and coherent system, giving a more adequate response to new forms of crime and strengthening the confidence of citizens in the Administration of Justice."

The conference on the reform of the penal code in Dénia took place at the Real Club Nautico and brought together dozens of people interested in learning more about this topic with the interests of the many experts throughout the day gave their opinions at round tables.

Finally the justice minister, Rafael Català, could not attend the closing for reasons of agenda.
