The beaches will arrive for Easter without a lavapiés

January 28 from 2020 - 13: 00

The Dénia City Council has been very optimistic about the objective of reconditioning the beaches for the next Easter season. With two months to go, they are in a more than worrying state, the vast majority unrecognizable after the passage of the temporary glory.

However, the councilman Pepe Doménech has assured that for said season the beaches would be operational again and showing a state very similar to the summer if the required works are fulfilled.

Of course, it assumes that the lavapies will not reach that date. Doménech has announced that 80% of the pipes require a replacement due to the passage of Gloria, which also has shattered 40 foot washers.

In order to solve it as soon as possible, the City Council has sent a report to the Valencian Tourism Agency for its relocation and replacement, if necessary, as well as the gateways.

Mayor, Vicent Grimalt, stressed that the installation of the footbaths in certain areas should be reconsidered and a relocation to less suffering sites should be considered in each storm.
