The irresponsible use of firecrackers during the Fallas of Dénia can have serious consequences, not only for the damage that may be caused, but also for the financial penalties that will be applied to those who violate the regulations. According to the Local police Dénia, the improper use of fireworks, such as setting off firecrackers near trash cans or containers, can cause fires and damage street furniture.

Those responsible for these incidents, or where applicable, the guardians of the minors involved, must be responsible for the damages, which include not only the financial penalty, but also the costs of replacing the damaged objects. The financial penalties for this behavior range from 751 and 3.000 euros, depending on the severity of the incident. As for damage to public furniture, costs can vary between 100 and 2.500 euros.

  • If a rocket doesn't explode, don't handle it.
  • Always keep a safe distance when using firecrackers.
  • Do not hold rockets in your hands or bring them close to your face.
  • Use safe means to ignite fireworks.
  • Never throw firecrackers at people or animals.

It's totally unbearable!! They should be banned or have a designated area designated, not have them rampaging through Dénia 24/XNUMX! It's impossible to enjoy the fallas peacefully. IT'S A TOTAL NIGHTMARE.

  2. Paloma says:

    That's what I say!
I totally agree with the comments and TOTALLY DISAGREE WITH THE INDISCRIMINATE FIRECRACKER.
Of course, luckily and as best I can, I'm leaving Denia for Fallas... like many others! I'm taking a plane from Valencia and fleeing to somewhere else, and the plane is packed to the rafters with Valencians! Why is that? And who is left with the "non-festival" of Fallas then?

  3. George Michael says:

In Valencia there are no fools throwing fireworks in the middle of the road, you can see the dolls without any problems, unlike in Dénia, here only fools, rednecks and rude people reign with their brats and fireworks.

  4. Manolo Tema says:

Sensitive tourists and locals who can't stand the noise of fireworks in the streets should be taken into account and banned from setting off fireworks. A bunch of idiots queuing up to buy this rubbish, raising their children poorly, and turning these Fallas into a hell in the city. Everywhere you look, there's an idiot with a fireworks display; you can't go out for a walk, take the dogs, or look at the dolls.

  5. Brigitte says:

It's completely crazy, impossible to enjoy the fallas, too many squabbles. I think Denia is going to lose more than it gains. It should think more about this problem. This is the first year they've been so annoying. It's devastating.

  6. Maria says:

They just put a firecracker in the door, and? ….. who is responsible?

  7. Lara says:

I totally agree!! Besides, I have two autistic children, and they have a really hard time. I'm not saying they shouldn't shoot, but mark off an area and they'll get tired of it, but NOT EVERYONE..!! Thanks..!!! Ahh, and worse are the parents who don't educate them on this subject. Thanks..!!

    • Daniel says:

The problem is who buys, no one says anything, neither the parents nor the stores.
Then firecrackers 1m from a person

      • Maria says:

Exactly, parents with their cell phones on terraces, and children, some of whom aren't even eight years old, with lighters and firecrackers, not "bombetas" without supervision, that's how it works.
No one, not even those who should, that is, the parents, say or do anything.

  8. Maribel says:

When are they going to stop this stupidity of throwing firecrackers in the streets? The Falleros should already implement changes that respect others on the streets, but in the end, they're only concerned with parading in their costumes, drinking, and eating. This festival only causes annoyance.

  9. Joan says:

You have to be retarded and of a bad race to use firecrackers when people are visiting the Fallas monuments.

Firecrackers, yes, but at official Fallas events… they should not be used indiscriminately, anywhere, at any time.

Then we also have to talk about the power of firecrackers. What's this about using mini bombs in the middle of a street where people are passing by?

  10. Graham says:

I think any indiscriminate use of firecrackers/fireworks should be banned. I live in La Xara and twice recently I have been walking my dog during the afternoon and he was terrified by a young mother with her son, and on Thursday by two very young boys, all throwing firecrackers. I am not against fireworks just the indiscriminate use of them.

  11. pep says:

And if they were eliminated outright? I've never seen anything more stupid in my life. The fallas might be interesting to visit, without the fireworks.
