President of the Local Board Fallera, Jaume Bertomeu, has highlighted that, historically, the failures of Dénia occupy a fundamental place in the festival program of the Holy Blood. In the first place, with the celebration of the Fallero's Day, in which the commissions take to the streets from early in the morning with music and cucañas to then participate in the paella contest of the Calle Marques de Campo and end the day with the act of exchange of batons between the presidents; and finally with the great parade of floats that traditionally runs through the streets of the center of Dénia on the second Saturday of the party week, becoming one of the great days of the Dénia festivities. "All this will return, but now is the time to act with knowledge and vindicate the role of the falleros and falleras of Dénia in their big week of partying," said Bertomeu.
