The Fallas of Dénia 2025 already have a poster, a program with news and a herald: María Jiménez Vinaroz

January 24 from 2025 - 10: 16

The president of the Local Board Fallera Denia, Jaume Bertomeu, announced this Thursday one of the prominent names of the failures 2025: that of María Jiménez Vinaroz, herald of the Dénia 2025 fallas, and that of José Gallego, in charge of the poster.

A vindictive and inclusive proclamation

María Jiménez was very grateful to the president for having offered her this unexpected responsibility. Now that she has had time to assimilate the task, she has already worked on her speech, which she describes as "different, demanding and inclusive."

Fallera since 2005 of the Campaments failsThe town crier was the Fallera Mayor of her commission in the 2012/2013 financial year and a member of the Court of Honour of the Fallera Mayor of Dénia in the 2013/2014 year. The following year she joined the Dénia Local Fallera Board, where she held, until 2019, positions such as Court of Honour delegate, census and reward delegate, website and network delegate, and protocol delegate, among others.

In her commission, María has been in charge as director and scriptwriter of the large and children's presentations for several years, as well as the comparsas of the floats Denia.

The proclamation will take place on Saturday, February 22 in the Plaza de la Constitución, along with the crida of the main falleras of Dénia, Carla Puerto and Laura Ramón.

The poster of José Gallego

The Fallas artist and visual artist José Gallego is the creator of the poster for the 2025 Dénia Fallas, a proposal in which he wanted to represent "the catharsis of the night of the cremà". The image shows a fallero and a fallera surrounded by fire: she with the prize pennant and he with the president's baton, characteristic of the Dénia Fallas.

For the president of the Local Fallera Board, Jaume Bertomeu, it is an honour that José Gallego has accepted the task of illustrating the fallas of 2025, an artist with whom he has maintained a great friendship since he took him for the first time to plant a monument in Dénia 25 years ago.

Failure program

The Dénia Fallas programme comes with a special novelty for the world of Fallas and festivals in Dénia: the exhibition of the ninot will open the new and long-awaited Museum of the Festival, on Avenida de Alicante, on Saturday 22 February.

For the president of the Fallera Local Board, Jaume Bertomeu, "we are in a very exciting moment with the inauguration, finally, of a space worthy of the fallas and the Dénia parties, historically demanded by the city's Fallas community."

Among the new features of the programme is the elimination of the afternoon shifts of homage, which will allow the presentation of the prizes for the large fallas to be brought forward. Jaume Bertomeu has thanked the commitment and work of the Dénia fallas commissions, "who continue to demonstrate, year after year, why the fallas of Dénia are an example wherever they go."
