The athletics track of the Dénia municipal sports center was the scene of the closing ceremony of several of the Municipal Sports Schools that have been running throughout the course.
This end of the course offered by the Department of Sports of Dénia served as an act of farewell to Vicent Crespo as mayor of sports. In his last speech, Crespo thanked the work that both technicians and staff of the sports area makes so that all the boys and girls of the municipality can play sports.
Crespo was in charge of the delivery of medals to all the athletes who were parading around the track. A parade that opened the School of Adapted Sports, which was once again one of the most applauded by the large audience that followed the event from the field stand.
Next to these special athletes came the youngest, the youngest who have worked in the Psychomotor School. The order of the parade continued with one of the most numerous schools, that of soccer. Some of their teams were absent when they were competing in tournaments outside Dénia. Then the students of the rest of the schools paraded: rugby, rhythmic gymnastics, skating, volleyball, handball, water sports, horse riding, futsal, track and field.
With all the athletes trained in the field of rugby, the event was concluded and all the young people were summoned so that the course that they continue to enjoy the Municipal Sports Schools offered by the Department of Sports of the City of Dénia.
