The solidarity bicycles roll again to collaborate with Condenados al Curb

Last Friday, May 31, began the fifth Angers-Cholet-Denia 2019 charity race, in which the cycling heroes Jaco, Philippe, Raphael, Christophe, Stephane Vincent, Jean-Philippe and Franck, departed from Angers (France) to travel 1210 km and collaborate with the County Association Condemned to Curb.

This sporting challenge, full of solidarity, has been realized in the years 2011, 2013, 2015, 2017 and now in the 2019 and aims to visualize and know the different projects carried out Condemned aimed at the inclusion of the collective of people with different capabilities, as well as raising funds for its operation. The French Association Elsa's Friends You will also receive a collaboration of this sporting feat.

The history of this solidary challenge

It all started in the year 2010 when Franck Garanger, soul and only cyclist who has been present in all the editions, was interested and empathized with the projects Condenaados carries out.

Franck belongs to the French Association Entraid 49, formed by long distance runners, which is in charge of getting the sponsors and organizing the race. All its members perform ultra distance tests to raise funds for solidarity purposes. Their sporting and adventurous spirit and their love for the mountain impels them to carry out all kinds of solidarity sports challenges.

Celebration of his arrival in Dénia

The arrival of the cyclists to Dénia will be on Saturday 8 of June and from Condemned everyone is invited to participate in the arrival and reception.

All the friends, supporters and collaborators of the Association can participate in two ways: waiting for the 11 in the morning in the Plaza de la Constitución (Dénia City Hall), or by bicycle, from 10: 30 to 10: 45 to IES Maria Ibars, from where a group of cyclists will leave, escorted by the Local Police, who will travel different streets of the urban area until arriving at the Plaza de la Constitución.
