The director Marina de Denia, Gabriel Martínez, has presented the work of the artist Anna Kovaleva, who will exhibit her watercolors at the Marina de Dénia art gallery. The exhibition opens next Saturday 18 in May at 20 hours and will be until the 2 in June, on time, Thursday and Friday from 17 to 20 hours and Saturday from 11 to 13 and from 18 to 20 hours. In addition, from the 30 from May to the 2 in June the students of Anna Kovaleva will exhibit their works in the gallery.
The artist has said that in the last two years her technique has changed a lot when painting "The last portraits are made with a new technique in which I do not use pencil and work directly with paint and a lot of water. In this way I can better capture what inspires me and I finished the work before. The painting is fresher and more alive", Kovaleva told.
The sample includes 20 paintings, mostly portraits of his family, although he has also painted the streets of Dénia and the port. Anna Kovaleva has been painting for 18 for years, "Although it is true that my art and this way of painting came to me five years ago, when I settled in Dénia".
